The team and I were tasked with developing the opening sequence for the New Edition story, using screenshots from the television series as the primary visual reference. We recreated key album covers and integrated them into an animated timeline that traces the group’s evolution and lasting impact on R&B. The sequence brings together archival-inspired visuals, motion design, and narrative structure to establish the story’s context and celebrate the legacy of one of music’s most influential groups.
